Install Citrix Workspace client (new name for Receiver):
Download Citrix Workspace here.
It is recommended to install the Workspace with an admin account (or run as admin).
1. Accept the license agreement, click next.
2. Do not enable App Protection, click INSTALL
3. Once intallation is done, click on FINISH
From here, you have 2 options.
1. Create the SirsiDynix citrix account in the Workspace client
  - Advantages:
    - It will create a Horizon shortcut on your desktop.
  - Cons:
    - It will not offer to store the Citrix password anymore. The citrix password needs to be entered everytime you boot the pc. It will however cache it for 48h, so if you close horizon and open it again, it should not ask you for password within that 48h.
    - Adding the Citrix account needs to be done on each computer account using the PC.
2. Use the web browser instead (recommended)
  - Advantages:
    - Web browser offers to store passwords, so your login and password are only entered once and kept for good.
    - A URL shortcut can be easily copied to everyone's desktop
  - Cons: It will not create a horizon shortcut on the desktop. Users must open their web browser and navigate to our URL. You can however, put a URL shortcut on the desktop, or in your bookmarks

Citrix Workspace access

Add an account in the Citrix Workspace.
Open Citrix workspace and add the URL of our Citrix farm. (Please refer below to find the URL by County/region)

- Enter your provided credentials (no domain name required)
- The citrix client should populate the Horizon shortcuts and put them on your desktop (or you can access the shortcut directly in the citrix workspace)

Once you have Citrix client installed, you don't need to setup the account in there. You can use the same URL in a web browser and connect Horizon from there.
The browser will try to detect if you have a citrix client installed. Click on Detect receiver, and if prompted, click on the popup box showing the detected workspace
You should now be able to open horizon from the icon
